About My Business

Hello, my name is Coby! I began my journey into metal fabrication about 5 years ago. I started 5 years ago as a grinder/polisher for stainless steel, steel, and aluminum. Learning to prep and finish welds played a huge role in my ability to become such a refined welder as I am currently. After 1 year of an apprenticeship, I was taught TIG stainless steel and steel welding starting out on thin material (18 Gauge) moving my way up to thicker gauges of stainless steel and steel including starting out on thin tungsten and smaller collet bodies. After becoming an experienced TIG welder, I then was taught MIG welding stainless steel and aluminum. After learning MIG welding I learned flux core welding.

After welding for 3 years, I became interested in programming machines, firstly starting out on the shear cutting sheet metal and the pilot tapping, countersinking, and threading. Afterwards I learned how to program and safely operate/maintenance a waterjet and a timesaver machine. I eventually found employment at a company that seen my potential and I was able to learn more complex machines and blueprints. I am currently employed as a Fabricator 2/Machinist 1 programming HAAS/CNC machines for a major manufacturing company producing custom and commercial firetrucks around the world. In my free time I like to build 3D software models on SolidWorks, learn Linux OS and print projects on my 3D Printer.

Business statement

I have an elevated level of respect for trades and the work that all of us tradesmen do. I also am very appreciative of the experienced tradesmen and ironworkers that took me under their wing and bestowed years of wisdom upon a diamond in the rough. I give realistic quotes on cost and job completion time. I DO NOT cut corners when it comes to the trade I live and love every day. Please do not negotiate quotes.

My business is based in Bradenton, Florida, and I am willing to travel to provide welding services to customers outside of the local area.
